Three pages that exist because they must: Privacy policy, Terms of service, and Cookie policy. The job is compliance and trust. Minimum Visualist brand standards apply throughout.

Compliance
What it is
Three pages: Privacy policy, Terms of service, Cookie policy. Each exists for legal compliance. They are linked from the footer, never from the main navigation. They are not marketing pages and do not attempt to be. The goal is clarity, not persuasion.
When to build or update
Build before launch. Review with legal counsel whenever data practices change, new product features are added, or applicable regulation changes. Date-stamp every update visibly on the page. Visitors and regulators need to know when the policy was last revised.
Visitor state
Cautious. They arrived because something made them want to verify Visualist's trustworthiness: a purchase decision, a data concern, a referral that raised a question. The page must make them feel confident, not confused. Plain language is the only style guide that matters here.
Brand standards that apply
Typography. Roobert for body copy. Roboto Mono for section labels. Tartuffo is not used on legal pages: display type would feel incongruent with the clinical nature of legal text.
Color. Cotton background. Leather for headings and body text. No brand accent colors. No Picardy, Wolfe, or Gretna anywhere on legal pages.
Navigation. Full site nav and footer are present. Legal pages are not stripped-down pages. The visitor must be able to return to the main site easily.
Language. Plain language throughout. Legal obligations must be met but they do not require impenetrable legalese. Where legal precision is required, use it; elsewhere, write clearly. Visualist's voice does not disappear on legal pages: it becomes quieter, not absent.
Pages in this type
Privacy policy. What data Visualist collects, how it is used, who it is shared with, and how users can request deletion or correction. GDPR and CCPA compliance required.
Terms of service. The contract between Visualist and its users. What users may and may not do. What Visualist's obligations are. Governing law.
Cookie policy. What cookies Visualist sets, why, and how users can manage them. Required wherever a cookie consent banner is shown.
